Program Description:
Queen Mary

Visiting a wide and varied range cultural and artistic sites and spaces throughout the Los Angeles heteropolis, students will gain an understanding of how great cities evolve and further creativity and community. Particular attention will be given to how Los Angeles has captured popular imagination both nationally and globally. Our class will involve study in preparation for our travel; 6 days of intensive travel by bus to visit sites throughout Los Angeles; followed by a report-back on what was observed and learned in the course.
